Marie Dow
Marie Dow, who married the Belgian ambassador to the US in the early 1900s and became the Baroness Cartier de Marchienne. The Dow family, a mother and four daughters, bought house #25 (now the Carbone house) in 1894 and lived there until Mrs. Dow's death.
