Barkley L. Hendricks: Intimate Impressions, an exhibition that opened in the summer, is on view through October 23, 2022, at Hopper House Museum & Study Center. Curated by Shari Fischberg, this exhibition features eighteen rarely seen landscape paintings created during the artist’s annual winter sojourns to the island of Jamaica. Open Thursdays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, Fridays 1:00 to 4:00 pm, weekends 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Located at 82 North Broadway, Nyack.
An exhibition of oil paintings by Kathleen Sykes entitled, A Few of My Favorite Things, is at the Marie Firestone room at the Palisades Library. The show runs through the month of October.

Sparkill Concert Series Presents the 2022-2023 Season

Liza Weisberg and Jeremy Dakota Cutting (Cody) were married at the home of Liza’s parents, Roger Weisberg and Karen Freedman on September 10. It was a perfect evening with a beautiful harvest moon rising over the Hudson. Liza and Cody met as students at Brown University. Liza graduated from Harvard Law School, clerked for Judge Kimba Wood in the Southern District Court of NY, and worked for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Atlanta on voter protection litigation. She is currently a staff attorney at the ACLU. Cody graduated from NYU Law School and worked for the Brenan Center for Justice and the Southern Center for Human Rights. He is currently a staff attorney at the Civil Rights Corps.
