Now that our ramp project has come to an end, again we thank the following community members for their generous donation or discount of services: Michael Tersigni, Shelly Cohen, Susan Nemesdy, Larry Buccarielli, Richard Rasmussen, Henry Ottley, Cellen Wolk, Dorian Tunell and Declan O’Dey. And to all those who made financial donations. We could have not done it without you!
Our next project is the installation
of a handicap bathroom AND a new kitchen.
Our little kitchen cannot be used because it does not meet Fire or Health Department
requirements. It needs a renovation and we need storage space.
We invite you to be a part of the action!

Oak Tree Sidewalk
On Sunday, March 4, James Dean, Town
of Orangetown Superintendent of Highways,
presented the plans of the proposed
Oak Tree sidewalk to the Palisades
community. The current plan is for
the sidewalk to be made of brickstyled
pavers and to run along the south side of
Oak Tree Road from the Palisades Community
Center to Route 9W with pavers.
There was discussion about it running
to Swan Street. The sidewalk has to be
re-approved by the new Town Board. We
will let you know when the next meeting
or course of action will occur.
