PALISADES COMMUNITY CENTER NEWS: May 2014
We thank Michael Tersigni as he steps off the PCC Board for his dedicated service. For our handicap ramp project, he donated his architectural skills and helped to oversee all aspects of the project. He and David Palachek gave freely their graphic design talents. We will miss him, but are delighted that he has offered to assist us with the handicap bathroom and kitchen project.
We welcome our new Board member Dr. Jeffrey Levine. Long time Palisades resident, Jeff, a cardiothoric anesthesiologist in private practice, and his wife Nancy have been very supportive of the PCC over the years and we look forward to Jeff’s energy on the Board.
We thank Paul Goldman for assisting us with the tote bag and banner design, Larry Bucciarelli for plowing our driveway for free, and Joyce Gavin and Susan Nemesdy for their never-ending volunteer services!
The first Palisades phone directory was created in 1980. In 2008 Lynne Sandhaus, Ernie Quick, Mary Tiegreen and Joyce Gavin produced a revised edition.
Many of us STILL refer to this well-worn directory. With all the new people in Palisades, it is time for a new one!
