Ebooks at the Library
Did you receive an ebook reader or ipad for Christmas? From the Library’s website you can download free ebooks and audiobooks to your ipad, iphone, Android smartphone, Barnes and Noble Nook or Sony EReader. The Kindle ereader is not compatible with the Library’s ebook program. Some of the latest titles are: “I Remember Nothing” by Nora Ephron; “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak; “Port Mortuary” by Patricia Cornwell; “Moon Over Manifest” by Clare Vanderpool; and “Brazen Virtue” by Nora Roberts.
If you don’t see a title that you want, email us at pal@rcls.org and if it is available as an ebook we will buy it.

More Space at the Library
Where there were once dusty reference books we have created an open space where groups of 4-6 can study and the Library Trustees can meet at an adult size table. We are working with designers Tersigni & Palachek to help us transform the space into a meeting room for adult programs and movies. We’ve already received lots of praise that the upstairs looks brighter and more inviting.

Children’s Programs
All programs are free and held at the library. There are 4 ways to register: in person at the library, by phone 359-0136, email pal@rcls.org or use our online calendar www.palisadeslibrary.org and get an automatic email reminder.
