Library Receives Generous Gift The Library Board and Staff are extremely grateful to Colin Jost and
Scarlett Johansson for their generous donation to the library. Their gift will help fund the necessary renovations to expand the children’s room and upgrade the restroom to meet current ADA standards
Third Annual Farm Day on Monday, October 14. Yvonna and Brett Wright of Lomar Farms host another fun-filled day of activities and vendors and a lively evening dinner to benefit the library. Daytime activities open to all from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Ticketed Dinner begins 6:00 pm.

Book Club Tuesday, October 15 at 6:30 pm. Join us on the third Tuesday of every month to discuss a member-selected book.
The Forever Young Band Saturday, October 5, 7:00-8:30 pm the band performs 50s music at the Tappan Manse Barn, 32 Old Tappan Road, Tappan, NY. This is a joint program in celebration of Orangetown Historical Museum and Archives current exhibit, Creating Community 1950.
Talk and Reception for Clara Bingham, author of *The Movement: How Women’s Liberation Transformed America 1963-1973*. Sunday, October 6, Author Interview and Book Signing at the Library at 4:00 pm. Reception and Fundraiser for the Library at 5:30 pm.
Julia Child Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Actress Leslie Goddard portrays Child and discusses everything from her relationship with her husband Paul to the mishaps of cooking on television. Bon Appetit!
Culinaria Germania Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Join German Historian Anette Isaacs as she takes you on a journey through the culinary wonders of her native country.
Sayonara Cowboy with Bill Fellenberg Sunday, October 20 at 1:30 pm at the Blauvelt Library. Bill Fellenberg will read from and discuss his memoir about a boy born to an American G.I. and a Yokohama shopgirl in Occupation Japan.
