CHILDREN’S SUMMER READING PROGRAM

The Summer Reading Program for 2008 was a great success. We began and ended the program by jointly hosting, with the other South Orangetown libraries, two successful events. During the summer Carolyn Travers offered weekly craft programs that were enthusiastically attended. We are also happy to report that the number of children who read and reported on their books increased. Our display boards in the library were almost filled to capacity.
