The next board meeting is Wednesday, December 13, at 7:00 pm in person, at the library. All meetings are open to the public.

HOURS
Open Monday through Thursday, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.

Many thanks to Yvonna and Brett Wright for hosting the second annual Farm Day Dinner Harvest at their farm on Oak Tree Road. The event raised $5,400 for the library building fund.

Winter Open House and Wreath Making on Saturday, December 2, 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
Adults enjoy wine and cheese and learn a little about winter in Palisades in the late 1800s while the kids play games from around the world in the children's room. Wreath making workshop for teens and adults at 4:00 pm. Registration for wreath making is required.

Chair Yoga and Gentle Yoga on Fridays at 11:15 am
Join instructor Laura Zaino in person. Each week we alternate Chair and Gentle Yoga.

Open Play Mah Jongg on Tuesdays from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Practice your skills with this friendly group. Please bring your own cards. Walk-ins welcome.

How to Create a Food Preparedness Pantry; Wednesday, January 24 at 7:00 pm on Zoom
Learn what to store, how to find storage space and how to manage your supplies.

The Frick Collection Virtual Tour on Monday, January 8 at 7:00 pm on Zoom
The Frick Collection is known for its distinguished Old Master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts. Explore this personal collection by Henry Clay Frick's family, including the mansion where the museum is housed, in this online virtual tour. After the virtual tour, use your library card to borrow our Frick pass for free admission!

Storytime - ages 6 months to 3 years on Tuesday Mornings at 10:30 am

Create Your Own Gingerbread House: Wednesday, December 20 at 4:30 pm, ages 5-10
Bring a box of graham crackers to construct an edible house with candy and other tasty goodies.

Snow Fun Without You: Wednesday, January 10 at 4:30 pm, ages 5-7
Listen to some wintry snowmen stories, create a snow globe winter scene and play the snowman mummy game.

Seeds to Sunflower: Saturday, January 20 at 1:00 pm, ages 5-8
Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners present STEM based program that explores how seeds grow using a milk jug for winter sowing. Place them in the garden and they emerge in the spring.
