Labyrinth Walk - Saturday, March 21st from 5:00 – 7:00 pm

The Lenten season, beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 25th until Easter Sunday, April 12th, is a time of quiet reflection, prayer and spiritual growth. As a special reflection for the season we invite you to attend a Labyrinth Walk at the Palisades Presbyterian Church. There will be a brief presentation given by facilitator Lynn Brown of Garrison, followed by time for walking a 24-foot portable canvas labyrinth in the Parish Hall.

The labyrinth, a circular meditative walking path dating back to ancient Greece, has seven circuitous paths winding into the center and back out again. This design is based on one found on the fl oor of Chartres Cathedral in France, dating to medieval times. In those days, Christians walked labyrinths in designated European cathedrals as a substitute for making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, which was then both costly and dangerous. The labyrinth walk is a wonderful opportunity for introspection and renewal whatever your faith or non-faith. This walk is a unique tool for those who seek to deepen their spiritual journeys or for those who simply want to de-stress and take some quiet time for self-refl ection. Admission is free. Lenten Calendar: April 5th – Palm Sunday: service at 10:00 am.

April 9th – Maundy Thursday:
