The Church Parish House is always busiest after the Memorial Day ceremony at the Palisades flagpole so come early if you can to spend the morning catching up with neighbors in a relaxed setting.

The 27th Annual Strawberry Festival

Save the date. The place to be on a June afternoon is the Palisades Presbyterian Church on Washington Spring Road enjoying the traditions of the Strawberry Festival. Once again we will serve our wonderful homemade strawberry shortcake loaded with luscious berries and freshly whipped cream. Children come visit the pocket lady whose colorful apron is filled with gift wrapped surprise toys!

Sponsored by the church Deacons, many hands pitch in to bake the cakes, hull and clean the strawberries and set up this popular event. Bring your family, friends and neighbors, prices are reasonable and old-fashioned fun and good cheer abound. Rain or shine. No charge for admission.

Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk June 20th 8 to 10 PM - Free Admission

Due to the great interest and success of our March walk we will be hosting another Labyrinth walk. This upcoming event will be a summer evening walk under the stars in our backyard. The labyrinth is a circular meditative walking path. Walking the labyrinth is a wonderful opportunity for introspection and renewal whatever your faith or non-faith. “We are all on a journey. We are walking the path called life. We must be awake to walk so that when we are confronted with a turn in our lives, we can welcome it with open arms, knowing that the mystery is contained in the challenge.”
