IN MEMORIAM

As we continue the work and mission of our church, we reflect on those whom have gone before us, to whom we are indebted and grateful for.

Pat McDonnell our beloved long time choir director and organist died on May 13th. Her memorial service as she had planned included many of her musical friends including the vocal jazz group she formed. It was a joyful celebration of her lifelong musical collaborations and a tribute to the music Pat loved and created for our church.

Gladys Rasmussen had been a resident of Palisades since 1968, the widow of Cornell Rasmussen, to whom she was happily married for 64 years. Gladys is the mother of Robert, grandmother of Lori and Richard, and great grandmother of Becky, Scott and Erik Rasmussen.

We also remember Jill Garrison, a long time resident of Palisades, whose son Wayne now serves as an elder on our current Session.

We offer our deepest condolences to families of these three great ladies. Their lives have touched and enriched many in our community and congregation.
