Christopher Daly, Eagle Scout
Christopher Daly of Troop 37 of Pearl River NY and son of John and Jennifer Daly of Palisades, NY recently achieved the highest Boy Scout rank of Eagle Scout. He is 17 years of age and entering his senior year at Tappan Zee High School.
Christopher was given the opportunity to renovate the playground of the Prince of Peace Preschool in Old Tappan, NJ for his Eagle Scout Service Project. His goal last summer was to take the classroom outside to the playground. He built four different stations for the children to use and explore with their imagination. His task was to raise money, purchase, and design and build these stations. Christopher led his fellow scouts, friends and family in the building and installation of these stations.
Beckerle Lumber was kind enough to donate the materials that Christopher needed along with bottle return money donated by family and friends. Christopher was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on June 10, 2014
