In Memoriam

On Friday, November 19th, a memorial service was held for Edith Margaret Ryan, a beloved member of Palisades Church who passed away on October 17th. Her 81st birthday would have been on November 11th.
Edith and her husband, Jack, settled in the Palisades area after WWII, and spent the rest of their lives there. They had four children, were very active in community and church activities. When the children were grown and out of the house, Edith went to college, and graduated four years later.
She was remembered at the service as an out-spoken, passionate woman and a friend to many who told personal stories of their long and caring relationships with her.
She will be missed by all who ever had the good fortune to know her.
