In Memoriam: Arthur J. Firestone

Arthur Firestone passed away on June 2, 2016. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and belonged to the American Legion Perry Post in Sparkill for over 55 years. A graduate of Pace University, he was a controller and accountant in New York City for many corporations.
After retiring, he owned and operated King Arthur’s Sound Scene in Northvale for 17 years. He was an avid softball player and proudly founded the Palisades-Sparkill Baseball League. For much of his life in Palisades, he enjoyed poker nights at the Perry Post. Arthur was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
