A Pet Service
Does your family extend to a cat or dog? If so you should know about Erin White’s reliable Fetch-A-Bone Pet Services. With six years under her belt, Erin employs two to three workers, has 150 satisfied clients and a company that is fully insured and bonded by Pet Sitters International. This responsible young woman offers a range of services from dog and cat sitting (feeding, cleaning litter and administer ing medication, all delivered with a generous dollop of affection) to dog walking.
Erin also provides taxi service for your pets, taking them to a vet, the groomers or picking up and delivering your pooch to Camp Bow Wow, a day care facility in Nanuet. She will even send you email photos while you are away to give you peace of mind that your trea sured pet is well cared for.
Fetch-A-Bone’s service extends to other animals as well. “I have worked with ferrets and birds but I draw the line at snakes and spiders,” Erin relayed with a smile.
Even if you don’t have a pet that needs caring for, you might want to consider Erin when going away on your next vacation. She will collect the mail, water plants, bring in the paper, check out the house for any problems and turn lights off and on to give the appearance there is someone there. It’s a good crime deterrent.
Erin is a Palisades girl, living in the community from age six until she graduated from Manhattanville College with a MFA in art therapy. After living a number of years in Piermont she has recently returned to a house on Century Road next to her parents. “I initially had a career in art in mind but I wanted to have my own business and after exploring options I decided to launch a pet services company.”
Her company covers Orangeburg, Old Tappan and North vale. Pet sitting and dog walk ing start at $20 a half hour. Overnight pet sitting starts at $80. Erin hasn’t abandoned her love of art. She has a studio in a complex in Bell-ans Park in Nanuet where she explores mixed media. “In exchange for providing social media services for the Art School at Old Church in Demarest, I am allowed to attend classes there. I recently took a fascinating one on encaustic, a method of painting that involves adding colored pigments to heated beeswax, that I am now exploring.”
Erin can be reached at 845-641-3017 and at www.fetch-a-bone.com to arrange for her services.
