This issue comes to you as the 10964 community, the Tri-State area and much of the nation shelters in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is much anxiety and fear, but there is also heightened awareness that kindness, thoughtfulness and caring are the true currency of this time. We are beyond grateful for the extraordinary bravery of our dedicated healthcare workers, and our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones to this terrible virus.
We continue to be mindful of how best to protect ourselves, and how to protect our neighbors. We salute the truckers, grocery clerks, postal employees, teachers, business owners, and every other essential worker who makes it possible for the rest of us to stay at home. With this issue, we’ve tried to offer information, inspiration and even a little entertainment. We hope you find it helpful. It’s been a strange and surreal spring, and there’s much uncertainty ahead, but we’re in this together, and together we’ll get through.
